Vision
A Nigeria whose engineers create lasting value for society.
We are engineers solving Nigeria’s problems across sectors by leveraging design capability.
EWB Nigeria began at the Federal University of Technology Yola as Environmental Watchtower, formed by students dissatisfied with how engineering was taught and eager to apply their knowledge to real campus problems.
The Sustainable Campus Project: the first step was cleaning up the campus environment.
Renamed Engineers Without Borders Nigeria at the request of Prof Bernard Amadei, co-founder of EWB USA and EWB International.
Implementer of the PIND Foundation (Chevron) ATED programme; a school and water project in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara with Schlumberger; and a water project in Adu Achi, Enugu State.
Developed Outcome Driven Engineering Education (ODEE) and Project Based Science Education (PBSE), and partners with the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology to build faculty capacity and roll out ODEE across Nigerian universities and polytechnics.

Working across sectors with institutions, communities and partners.
Our direction is grounded in practical engineering, education and collaboration.
